Assistant Manager Preventive Maintenance - Electrical

Position Purpose

Setting up, optimizing and execution of detailed inspections of assigned areas of Plant.  Assessment of all trend data, generation of notifications.  Maintain assigned areas plant maintenance history.

Job Description

  • Visit assigned areas for inspection according to the schedule. 
  • Prepare thermography report regarding equipment of respective areas and highlight abnormalities to concerned department and to assure remedial action.
  • Make list of Pending / Shutdown daily, P.M activities of respective areas and ensure the execution of these activities in next shut down. Issue such list prior to shut down to concerned department.
  • Take temperature and vibration readings of critical motors as per schedule. 
  • Indicate abnormal temperatures and vibrations to electrical department and to assure remedial action by the department.
  • Analyze causes of equipment breakdown / damage in all the areas & report to In charge P.M suggesting remedial measures.
  • inform about any abnormality found in any area to electrical department.
  • Prepare & update checklist for newly installed/modified equipment of concerned area.
  • Issue and cross check the feedback of P.M activities of respective areas for Electrical department.
  • Maintain the important activities record in for history purpose.
  • Study the Shift register of Elect. Dept. on daily basis.
  • Immediately inform seniors in case of any emergency during shift.
  • Participate in joint inspection visit during plant operation on Monthly Basis.
  • Prepare a list of abnormalities, malfunctioning and submit to Electrical Department for remedial action after approval by HoD.

Experience and Qualification

  • B.Sc. Electrical from an HEC recognized university.
  • 04 to 06 years experience in relevant field preferably in cement industry.

Specific Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficient in using MS Office and SAP.
  • Strong analytical and condition monitoring skills.
  • Good team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Compliance with HSE policy.
