Position Purpose

Manage and execute all the activities regarding maintenance and troubleshooting for the smooth process of turbine, boilers and associated auxiliaries of Power Plant.

Job Description

• Ensure inspection of area equipment’s/ machines during operation/ shutdown to observe abnormality for planning and forecasting/ arrangement of spares.
  
• Quality assurance of the whole maintenance function by procuring quality spares, tools and ensuring availability of procedures.
• Ensure inspection of critical maintenance jobs completed by Mechanical Section in order to improve quality of work, to avoid repetitive faults/maintenance and to maintain record of critical/major maintenance jobs for future references/guidance.
• Coordinate with Preventive Maintenance department for the execution of SAP plant maintenance software.
• Ensure old items to be returned to store through SRN,  during up gradation/modification.
• Follow shutdown/maintenance jobs/plans during off hours.
• Ensure availability of relevant drawings and technical literature of the Mechanical equipment installed in the area.

Experience and Qualification

• B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering
• 06 to 08 years of practical experience of turbine maintenance

Specific Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Travelling may be required occasionally to other business locations.
• Comply with HSE policy.
