Position Purpose

Execution of automation activities and DCS system to maintain smooth operations of the plant.

Job Description

• Inform line manager on idle run of equipment to minimize the power consumption.
• Coordinate with operators/ shift Incharge for timely rectification of abnormal observation, if any.
  
• Respond to emergencies during odd hours and maintain close coordination with onsite execution team.
  
• Ensure timely replacement/upgradation of obsolete systems in close coordination with line Manager on regular basis.
• Ensure standard working ambient conditions for site installations.
  
• Ensure monthly backup of all PLC, client stations, servers, Pfister CSC and touch screens.
• Implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of all the software/tools and hardware.
  
• Shutdown planning, execution and restoration of temporarily simulated/ forced interlocks, especially in KSD.
  
• Arranging the assets and services well in time for planned shutdowns.
  
• Coordination with the vendors/OEM’s and other works for the upgradation of obsolete electrical systems and spare parts management in close coordination with line manager.

Experience and Qualification

• B.Sc. Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 08 years of relevant experience.
