Assistant Manager Finance

Position Purpose

This position is responsible for managing the overall financial matters for BReT, raising invoices, initiating payments for preparing financial statements. 

Job Description

  • Prepare the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements to ensure all transactions are recorded in the accounts. 
  • Record transactions in double entries to prepare GL, Trial Balance.
  • Liaison with stores, project managers and sales team to track projects, recognize revenue and costs to calculate margins by project. 
  • Raise sales invoices and calculate and report total sales tax payable to the Tax team. 
  • Support BReT’s SAP/ERP implementation. 
  • Maintain sales, purchase and expense ledgers and validate purchase invoices & payables to vendors. 
  • Customer account & project close reconciliations. 
  • Support BReT's project team with any ad-hoc financial matters and resolving queries. 

Experience and Qualification

  • CA Finalist / ACCA / MBA Finance. 
  • 02 to 04 years experience in a financial accounting role in AP, AR, GL or Financial Reporting in a reputable company. 

Specific Requirements

  • Knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow), account reconciliations, invoicing & double entry accounting.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
  • Advanced Excel user i.e. comfortable with pivot, formulas etc. 
  • Work efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
