Position Purpose
Lead the budgeting, planning and analysis function. The Budgeting Lead will work closely with all the departments in the company and will ensure accountability accountability for budgets and forecast.
Job Description
- Responsible for planning, preparation, implementation and monitoring of annual budget and forecasts to help higher management to take timely decisions.
- Develop budgeting and forecasting models as per business needs.
- Prepare quarterly rolling forecasts (RF) and GAP analysis to identify areas of improvement and to keep organizational objectives on track.
- Conduct analysis of actual performance against the budget/RF.
- Conduct detailed analysis of month on month and year to date management accounts including commentary for reporting to directors and the UK Head office.
- Ensure Effective stakeholder management including challenging various teams to optimize business performance.
- Close coordination with departments in order to control their costs and increase revenues.
- Operational and adhoc reporting (Sales analysis, Monthly efficiency analysis, PACRA coordination and reporting, Industrial ecology etc).
- Set up of Director’s report for Executive Directors to be incorporated in published quarterly and annual reports.
- Prepare Board of Directors pack for higher management to give them an overall performance summary of BCL for each quarter.
- Prepare quarterly analysis of industrial benchmarking to compare Company’s performance against competitors.
- Lead support staff ensuring that relevant tasks are delegated, quality and accuracy of work is delivered, meeting all agreed timelines.
- Manage and mentor team, ensuring their career development and growth.
Experience and Qualification
- CA Finalist / ACCA Member
- 05 to 07 years of relevant experience

- Team management and development skills.
- Occasional travelling may be required.
