Position Purpose
This position is responsible for managing daily operational and strategic tasks related to Insurance, Investments and Financing.
Job Description
- Manage the renewal and timely payment of various insurance policies including Group Insurance, CMI Insurance, FIRE Insurance, and other relevant coverage to ensure continuous risk protection of the Group.
- Oversee and manage investments in equity, money market instruments, and mutual funds to maximize returns in line with the organization’s risk appetite.
- Conduct detailed arbitrage analysis to identify profit opportunities across financial markets and evaluate investment options and prepare strategic recommendations for senior management to ensure optimal allocation and utilization of financial resources.
- Lead the annual renewal and negotiation of revolving credit facilities while proactively identifying opportunities to minimize finance costs and improve terms.
- Prepare detailed treasury reports for review and decision-making by senior leadership including Finance Cost, Weighted average Finance cost, Net Debt, Monthly Reporting Pack and Weekly To-do lists for senior management.
- Coordinate with banks for the renewal of Letters of Credit (LCs) and Guarantees, including the calculation and settlement of associated commissions.
- Liaison with internal teams and external banking partners to support seamless treasury operations.
Experience and Qualification
- MBA Finance or ACCA Affiliate.
- 06 to 08 years of relevant experience.
Specific Requirements
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to do multitasking and handle pressure.
- Strong Negotiation skills to deal with external stakeholders.
- Expertise in MS Office and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP and Treasury reporting.
