Assistant Manager Payroll

Position Purpose

This position is responsible to process, maintain smooth payroll and carryout employee’s benefit payments in compliance with company policies and labor laws.


Job Description

  • Prepare and process payroll in SAP-HCM, coordinate with internal stakeholders for benefit payments & deductions e.g. Fuel, Mobile, TA/DA and Medical (OP/IP).
  • Review employee master data changes before payroll execution. Incorporate and verify payments of bonuses and increments.
  • Verify attendance overtime and absent records.
  • Prepare salary reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Liaison with Finance department during whole payroll process and forwarding the payment instructions to carry out electronic and cheque transfers.
  • Salary slips disbursement and handling employees’ compensation & payroll related queries.
  • Prepare payroll related weekly, monthly and annual reports e.g. Tax, Benefits, deductions, EOBI, Social Security and salary comparisons.
  • Compiling and preparing HR annual budget also provide quarterly rolling forecasts and establishing appropriate reasoning.
  • Facilitate HR annual, semiannual and quarterly audits and provide adequate information and data.
  • Contribute in increment, salary band revision and compensation related exercises.
  • Maintain full employee confidentiality and ensure protection of all payroll operations. Contribute towards team members to achieve utmost efficiency.
  • Special tasks assigned by management as per requirement.

Experience and Qualification

  • BBA / MBA HR 
  • 02 to 04 years of experience in HR Operations / Benefits and processing activities.

Specific Requirements

  • Hands on experience of SAP HCM.
  • Excellent command on MS Excel.
  • Good Knowledge of Labor Laws.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
